On the opening night of my debut in Las Vegas, there was a knock on the door of my dressing room. The stage manager entered and handed me a small gift wrapped box. In it was a solid gold miniature piano ring with twenty one diamonds set in it and a note from Liberace wishing me all the luck in the world. Each diamond represented a night of my three week Vegas engagement !
